Due to Bedford School District's new protocol concerning Covid-19,

unfortunately Water Walk 2020 is cancelled.

What is a Water Walk?

A Water Walk is a UNICEF-based walk to raise awareness of the water crises around the world. Everyday, people all around the world have to walk miles for water, and a lot is not even clean. During the walk, people learn about the journeys of these people and what they can do to help. The proceeds of the event will go to UNICEF to build wells for the people without fresh water.

Over 800 children die every day — about 1 every 2 minutes — from

diarrhea due to unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation, or poor hygiene.

When is it?

This year, it will be Saturday, March 21, with at 1PM. It starts at Bedford High School, 47 Nashua Road, Bedford NH.

How much does it cost?

It costs nothing! However, we ask that you bring a container/bucket to hold water in, like a plastic milk jug.
