| The sensational city of Singapore will be the location of our next overseas reunion for Old Guildfordians and parents of the School. The main event will be the Reunion Dinner and Performance, on Saturday 12 July, with Guildford Grammar School’s very talented School of Music and the Indigenous Dance Troupe entertaining the guests. A four day program of optional activities has also been built around the reunion from 10 July to 13 July (inclusive), which will include an amazing Chinatown trishaw night tour and bumboat ride, a Universal Studios day tour, and a Zoo Night Safari with dinner MAIN EVENT Reunion Dinner and Performance at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel ($65AUD) Saturday, 12 July 2014 OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES Night out at Chinatown with dinner, trishaw tour and bumboat ride PRIVATE GROUP TOUR ($145AUD) Thursday, 10 July 2014 - Pick up from Merchant Court Hotel 6.30pm. Drop off to Merchant Court Hotel 10.30pm. Universal Studios day tour with return transfers to the hotel ($115AUD) Friday, 11 July 2014 - Pick up from Merchant Court Hotel 9.30am. SCHEDULE AND BOOKING INFORMATION Bookings for the Main Event, the Reunion Dinner and Performance on 12 July, will be handled by The Old Guildfordians Association. All bookings for the Optional Activities and Accommodation will be handled by Motive Travel. If Optional Activities or Accommodation are requested, a representative from Motive Travel will make contact with you to finalise your booking. ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION AND PRICES Clarke Quay on the Singapore River has been chosen as the ideal location for accommodation due to the wonderful array of restaurants, cafés, bars and attractions available. It is within walking distance of the financial hub of Raffles Place, and close to major places of interest including Orchard Road, Chinatown and Boat Quay. The preferred hotel for our group is the Swissotel Merchant Court, a four star hotel with a resort-style pool on the banks of the Singapore River and located across from Central/Soho, a shopper’s paradise. If the Merchant Court is not within your budget, there are plenty of other hotels nearby. Please note that the rates below are subject to change. Because of limited availability it is strongly recommended that you confirm your accommodation arrangements as soon as possible. FLIGHTS For those travelling from Australia, Motive Travel will be more than happy to assist your with your bookings. You can indicate whether you need assistance booking your flights when you register. RSVP Bookings must be finalised by Wednesday, 2 July 2014. While we can guarantee availability for bookings placed for the Reunion Dinner and Performance, all Optional Activities and Accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking. We therefore encourage you to place your bookings as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. PLEASE NOTE Please be aware that by booking via this page or by the form, you accept that you will be charged by The Old Guildfordians Association for the cost of the main event only (the Reunion Dinner and Performance) at $65AUD per person.
