Owners of the Crooked House have been ordered to rebuild it. Six months after the “UK’s wonkiest pub” was set on fire and then demolished, South Staffordshire Council has ordered the owners to rebuild the pub. Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, said: “An enforcement notice has been issued against the owners for its unlawful demolition. “They have been ordered to rebuild the pub back to what it was before the fire.”

A recent survey has declared Jelly Babies as the most loved sweet in the nation, with Rowntrees’ Fruit Pastilles and Fruit Gums following closely behind. The research also found that people in the UK consume an average of 19 sweets per week and that 78% of respondents find something special about enjoying the same sweets they did as children. Additionally, 77% would choose a bag of their favorite sweets over pudding every time, and 70% prefer sweets to chocolate. What’s your favourite sweet?

BT Group has agreed to sell the iconic BT Tower for £275m to MCR Hotels, who plan to transform it into a hotel, securing its place as a London landmark. As the UK moves towards a digital future, network operations that were once based in the Tower are now handled through BT Group's networks. The Tower has been an important site for BT's Media & Broadcast business, but they have been migrating services to a cloud-based platform, making the move to more modern premises possible. Brent Mathews, Property Director at BT Group, stated that the sale will enable the Tower to take on a new purpose and preserve it for future generations. Tyler Morse, CEO of MCR Hotels, expressed pride in preserving the building and plans to develop it into an iconic hotel.
