50 Years of Qualiturn products limited. On 16th Jan 1974 #qualiturn was incorporated. The company was started by Mary and Bernard Groom, my mum and dad. The loyalty of its staff, friends, customers & suppliers created over the 50 years has been a fantastic journey. The company will continue to grow and adapt to its market demands. Last night shift for one of my Star SR20R4 off to a new home tomorrow. Does anyone else do this? Or just me… 45,862 hours Run 2,751,720 minutes 165,103,200 seconds 3,895,207 parts made 42.38 average cycle time. Machine is 10years old (2013) 87,600 hours 89,091 powered on (give or take a few months) So it’s been running running making parts for 5years, half its life so far What do you think?? We finish components during the manned day shift, then switch to robots at nights. Or us the robots whilst programming next jobs. Aiming for zero spindle down time.
